Scrips is an innovative fundraising program that helps your band student grow his or her travel account while helping fund the instrumental music program at Columbine High School.

         For our new freshman families, Scrip is gift cards that you purchase through our Booster organization.  Band members may purchase Scrip certificates at discount prices, with the difference between the amount paid and the face amount of the gift card or certificate helping to raise funds.  One-half of the discounted amount goes into the General Band Fund and the other half goes into the Individual Band Student's Travel Account.

         Hundreds of retailers participate in Scrips, including restaurants, hotels, clothing stores, sporting goods outlets, and theaters (such as, Kohl's, Macy's, Ross, T.J. Maxx, J.C. Penney, Sears, Office Max, Office Depot, Best Buy, Walgreens, Safeway, Payless Shoes).  Consider purchasing Scrips gift cards or certificates for back-to-school supplies, holidays, birthdays, weddings, or any of your gift giving at this time of year!  Scrip gift certificates make great gifts for friends, family, teachers, babysitters, neighbors, coaches, and co-workers.  Think about all your holiday gift giving now, so you can help out our CHS Instrumental Music Program at the same time!

         Our next Scrip order will be due on March 11.  Heather Davis will be at the Booster Meeting on the 11th, so you can bring your order that evening.  This order will be ready for pick-up no later than March 19th, so think about Easter goodies (See's Candy discount is 25%!).
