Columbine High School Band Boosters
Phone Book Fundraiser

A huge "thank you" to everybody who pitched in on the phone book delivery!  We completed all of our 25 routes, and delivered books to about 9,900 addresses!  This was an increase of 1400 more stops than last year, and will translate into a check for the Boosters of over $4,900!!

Any big project like this requires the help of many folks, and we certainly had lots of help.  Thanks go out to all the parents who donated their time, vehicle (including gas), muscle, and creative ideas to make this effort successful for our music students.  This includes Mike Evans, Jan Lambert, Bill Davis, Kay and Gordon Loundagin, Kim Cline, Victoria Mason, Patty Silverstein, Susan and Dan Pagliarini, Theresa Donnelly, Barb and John Geiger, Sally Mills, Tina and Guy Wells, Nancy Crilley, Dan Raatz, Irene Smith, Lane Smith's dad (sorry, we didn't get the first name!), Gail Daniel, Mary Savage, Pam Pazmino, Jill and Chuck Redlinger, Lisa Ruby, Linda Bush, Deann Larson, Sandy and Steve Montoya, Joan and Bill Goddard, Brad Tucker, Greg and Tina Morris, Chris Henderson, Celeste Porter, Nena Steger, Lynn Swanson, Cindy Lutz, and Linda Green.  I hope I didn't leave anyone out!

We had the participation of 32 students on Feb. 1, 39 students on Feb. 2, 34 students on Feb. 8, and 45 students on Feb. 9.  These included orchestra, band, jazz band, and National Honor Society members, as well as a few friends of our kids who just showed up to help!

It was a lot of work, but we have the most amazing Booster organization!  Whatever needed to be done, there was someone willing to do it.  You are a fantastic group, and such a pleasure to work with.  Here are some quotes to remember all the fun times slugging phone books:

"Do we have to deliver all of those?..."
"We ran the whole route!..."
"Were the trailers full when we started?..."
"This is kinda cool!..."

And a HUGE thank you to Heather for coordinating this whole effort.  This would not have been possible without her tireless work through all temperatures!  Thank you, Heather!
