In the fall the Color Guard is a very important part of the marching band. Second semester, most members form the Winter Guard which competes in the Rocky Mountain Color Guard Association Circuit. They are also in the Winter Guard International Rocky Mountain Regional and have traveled to the WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio. They are instructed by Gary Locke.

Shown below is a group picture of the guard.  It was taken at the RMCGA Regionals at Alameda HS (March 15, 2003) right after the guard took 3rd place.
